PHILIPPINES, CEBU EAST MISSION

Hi, I'm Hailey Johnson; and I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  I am from Idaho, USA and I have been called to serve the great people of the Philippines, Cebu East Mission, in the Cebuano language.

I have been preparing to serve a mission my whole life, and I am excited and humbled to be able to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. 

I am the middle child with two older brothers and two younger brothers. I have three cats and love all animals. In high school I was on the volleyball, lacrosse, track, and cross country teams. I was a member of Concord Girls' Chorale, A cappella, and Madrigals. I played cello for eight years and was in the Sinfonia & Symphonic Orchestras. I served on the Mayor's Youth Advisory Council and I am a Seminary graduate. I studied for two years at the College of Western Idaho, and was accepted to BYU-Idaho before deciding to suspend my academic pursuits to serve a mission. Although I will slightly miss my brothers, I am excited to serve for the next eighteen months.
